the skin one is posed of really i saw the system specs and all, really liked it but coudnt find a skin that i liked so my friend is in C++ and he built me the sysinfo thing. So i dont have the original files. But yea there is a software called sysmatrix i belive that would work calender is kalpusas. Sorry for the spelling.

Got to give it to you guys the vista looks is very nice i did have the vista one also but it felt the beta still needed some work i kept on going though lots of glitches and windwosblind also kind of screwed my desktop up so i will just wait for the offical vista release and all its goodies.

Ya, windowsblind also screwed up my computer, so im using normal VisualStyle with the Vista look... I have installed the latest beta build on my laptop, I can only say it looks really good!! :cool 2

Use UXTheme Patch, then u don't need any kinda software to use Visual Styles :)
Download the attached torrents.

How to use patch:
1. Open "Replacer.cmd"
2. Find the original "uxtheme.dll" in the System32 folder
3. Drag the original "uxtheme.dll" to the "Replacer.cmd" window.
4. After that drag the downloaded "uxtheme.dll" to the "Replacer.cmd" window.
5. Cancel the Windows Protection Message, else it won't work.

Hmm thats wierd, cuz thats the best way to do it...(I never had problems, I'v done this to computers of mine friends, without problems) did u cancel the "Windows Proctection" Message that u will get when u replace?

I did not get any message at all inafact, i just copied the the dll in the folder and placed it on the cmd and then placed the dll on the sys32 folder on the cmd to replace it and that was it and then it told me to restart. So when i restarted my XP blue theme was gone and i ended up with a grey defualt one.

Oh, this pack comes with uninstaller, but I set up a restore point before I downloaded this just in case.

Yea, its still windows, but last week or so there was a release called "Vista Transformation Pack Full or Lite" This contains everything to turn you XP into vista visually i repeat just visually so it changes you sytems files and icons such as folders and what not. You can not go back unless you reinstall windows or reformat it. Well thats what i think..

Why did you do that dude, even with all the warnings, anyways do a system restore in XP to an eariler date, then get icon packager to get back to the original XP icons, and if you do need it get WindowBlinds if your XP theme is still messed up.

If you have good system, vista will be faster than XP...
The only thing which is slow in vista, is the file transferring time, but thats fixed in sp1.
